Ross The Boss

Ross 'The Boss' Friedman needs no introduction amongst Manowar fans. Along with Joey DeMaio, he co-founded this legendary band and has spent 8 years and 6 studio albums sending Manowar's 'True Metal' into the world.

To many Manowar fans, Ross is still considedered to be the ultimate Manowar guitar player.

He is also known for founding the 70's punkband The Dictators and as a member of a ton of other bands like Shakin' Street, Brain Surgeons, Death Dealer and of course, his own solo project: Ross The Boss:

A project that started as a kind of Manowar tribute but almost immediately evolved into a band with original material.
Ross will be shredding it up on the Vondel stage on Sateruday October 26th at 22h30. This will be a show you don't want to miss!

Given great incentive by their work together in Belgium’s legendary Heavy Metal band Ostrogoth, axemen Dario Frodo, Stripe and Tom Tee found themselves overwhelmed by inspiration for new material, much of which proved to lie too much outside the boundaries of what they could rightly realize with Ostrogoth. Therefore, they decided to found a brand new formation through which to channel all these new ideas. With the addition of classically trailed batterist Louis Van Der Linden to the fold, the search was open for a powerful vocalist with a wide range and striking stage presence, which they found in seasoned Dutch singer David Marcelis (Lord Volture, Black Knight,...).

With the line-up complete, the band put the finishing touches on their self-titled debut album, which was released October 5th 2018. Touring and gigging commenced immediately, and saw the band playing dates across Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, Holland and Belgium, where Thorium shared the stage with acts such as The Three Tremors, Q5, Witch Cross, and many more.

Influenced by and incorporating elements of all the classic styles of Metal from the past four decades, such as NWOBHM, Power Metal, Progressive Metal, Speed Metal, Bay Area Thrash and of course classic Heavy Metal, there is no doubt Thorium will turn De Vondel upside down when they start playing on Saturday October 26th at 21h30!

From The Road

Lynyrd Skynyrd, the world famous American rock band from Florida, has been going strong for about half a century now, mostly known for hit songs like 'Free Bird' and 'Sweet Home Alabama'.

The band is currently on a final farewell tour, but that won't stop this Belgian tribute band!

From The Road is a 9-headed band, formed in 2014 and named after the legendary 'One More From The Road' live album from 1976. Each member has extensive experience in other bands, which provides a unique 'vibe' on stage, both small and large.
Good atmosphere and sing-along-songs guaranteed when From The Road opens up Heaven's Door Revival 2019 on saturday October 26th at 19h.
